Fundamentals of Extended Reality

  • Explore the impact of AR/VR across sectors, examine gadgets and potential applications, and analyze sample projects and use cases to understand the fundamentals of Extended Reality.

Project Conceptualisation

  • Identify problems, brainstorm solutions through mindmapping, design experiences, and prepare concept documents including wireframes and mood boards in the process of project conceptualization.

Overview of Asset Creation

  • Learn DCC tools, explore 3D art styles, prioritize modular design, execute 3D modeling, apply UV mapping, create textures, understand PBR materials, rig 3D models, animate, import and export assets, optimize, recognize file formats, identify logo styles, and utilize 2D assets and typography for asset creation.

Introduction to UE5

  • Explore Unreal Engine, its applications, install the Epic Games Launcher, explore its components, install Unreal Engine and its versions, navigate Unreal Editor, understand various panels, master viewport navigation, widgets, and shortcuts, and comprehend the effects of basic actors on the level, including collision, lighting, and physics.

Project Anatomy and working with Assets

  • Analyze level creation, import assets, navigate content packs and marketplace, manage files, establish source control, utilize blueprints, construct environments, manipulate actors, and explore plugins for project anatomy and asset management in Unreal Engine.

Asset import (from any DCC tools)

  • Describe pawn possession, differentiate between various pawn types including player characters, analyze game modes and events, trigger events through collisions and trace queries, explore project settings for input and collision configurations, apply tick knowledge in diverse project contexts, utilize various Blueprint Communications, and implement interfaces, casting, and event dispatchers.

Introduction to Blueprint

Level building in UE5
