Curriculum
INSEAD Session: Branding
- This session incorporates the understanding of the value chain of Branding’ which spans across creating, communicating, delivering and optimizing the value proposition.
INSEAD Session: Blue Ocean Strategy
- This interactive session looks at how managers can systematically search for and identify innovative opportunities for business using Blue Ocean Strategy tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
INSEAD Session: Influencing without Authority
- This session provides participants the opportunity to test their leadership skills and influence without authority in a computer-simulated organization
INSEAD Session: Business Simulation
- This session, provides leaners the opportunity to apply some of the things they have learned in an engaging experiential simulation.
Applied Design Thinking
- This module enables learners to apply design thinking methodology, concepts and frameworks to introduce/ improve products/ services and solve real business problems
Marketing and Sales
- This module establishes the Fundamentals of Marketing by defining the key marketing concepts and application through case study analysis and live examples from the industry like segmentation,targeting, positioning (STP), pricing strategy, consumer insights, retail marketing and go to market (GTM) strategy.
Supply Chain, Operations, and Logistics
- This module helps learners gain holistic perspective on supply chain across traditional, modern trade (ecommerce) and services sector. It enables learners to get familiar with sales and operations planning (S&OP) and principles that drive optimization across the supply chain.
Entrepreneurial Thinking
- This module enables learners to gain different perspectives on entrepreneurship. It provides them useful concepts to keep in mind while evaluating new ideas and growth opportunities. It provides reflection on challenges most new ventures face and how to solve the problem of capital by using new age business models.
Business Strategy and Strategic Thinking
- This module demystifies business strategy and how companies create and sustain advantage. Taught entirely using real business case studies, learners dive into strategic business issues problem solving across diverse industries. They understand perspectives on diversification and the challenge of dual transformation (improve existing, creating new). Across case studies learners develop understanding of how business models evolve and building blocks of good strategy and execution.
Managerial Finance
- This module helps learners understand drivers of financial value creation and gain clarity on core finance concepts they will come across in managerial decision making.
Leading Self, Teams, and Organizations
- Using real-world case studies, our uniquely curated Leadership module will expose you to the various leadership challenges one faces in business and in ones career as one grows. It will develop reflective insight about leading self, leading teams, and leading change and transformation in organizations.
Capstone Project
- As part of the SMBE course, we encourage our learners (you) to take up a project to apply your enhanced learnings. Our learners either take up a problem or challenge in their existing business or practice entrepreneurial thinking by evaluating new business ideas or dive more into their professional evolution. This runs through the program, it is lead by the respective learner, faculty mentors and on the final group learning weekend, all learners present their projects and learnings.
